Darrl (Dee) Robert Jr. is a perfect example of perseverance, the importance of hard work, and giving back to the community that raised him. Dee has hosted and participated in numerous awareness and fundraising events at his Westbank unisex salon. In 2014, Dee hosted the Back to School Event sponsored by Privé Nola & participated in Back 2 School in Style in early 2015. His artwork has been donated to the likes of Westwego Elementary and The Color Gallery, Inc. He has also given motivational speeches to young people at Covenant House New Orleans.
